Paid checkout uses Stripe when live payment processing is configured for the deployment. Free-ticket checkout remains available without a payment provider. The platform fee is calculated on the server and shown as part of the order total; organiser settlement is handled separately in this MVP.
Each issued pass uses a signed QR payload. The access tool validates that payload against the ticket and event record before saving a successful check-in. A QR code reduces misuse, but no ticketing system can promise that fraud is impossible.
Yes, for an active ticket when the recipient already has a MetaPass account. The transfer flow verifies the current owner and records the ownership change so the sender no longer owns an active pass.
No. The current attendee flow uses a MetaPass account and regular web checkout. No crypto wallet is required to browse events, hold a ticket, transfer an eligible ticket, or present its QR pass.
No. Event discovery, checkout, ticket management, and organiser operations work without it. AI chat is an optional signed-in feature and is available only when the deployment has an AI provider configured.
