This policy explains what MetaPass collects, why we use it, and the choices available to attendees and organisers.
We process account details, event and ticket records, transaction references, support messages, device and security logs, and the preferences you choose to save.
Reward status is calculated from eligible ticket records. We do not need a separate behavioural profile to display a points balance or account badge.
Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider. MetaPass stores payment identifiers and status information, not complete card numbers.
If you explicitly choose “Use my current location,” your browser provides coordinates to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service to derive a city label. MetaPass stores that location in your browser for seven days unless you remove it sooner.
We use information to authenticate accounts, issue and validate tickets, process transfers and refunds, operate organiser tools, prevent fraud, provide support, and improve reliability.
Saved discovery preferences are used to tailor catalogue results and optional signed-in recommendations.
A private event-creation draft can be stored in the organiser’s browser so unfinished form details survive a refresh. It remains on that device until the event is created or browser storage is cleared.
Relevant ticket and order details are shared with the organiser responsible for an event and with service providers needed to deliver authentication, hosting, payments, email, and security.
Records are retained only as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, dispute handling, and fraud prevention.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and transaction-record requirements. Saved discovery preferences can be changed from account settings.
